Do you or someone you know need help while undergoing cancer treatment?
Cancer Support Foundation, Inc is an organization that does exactly what it says: help cancer patients.
CSFI does everything but the medical care, providing transportation, eviction prevention, household help, financial assistance and more. They raise money through donations and a variety of fun-filled events. I was fortunate to participate in last Saturday’s Cancer Support Spa Day at the Big Vanilla gym in Pasadena, Maryland.
A $20 dollar ticket provided access to free products and services from 170 vendors. Everything from massage , music therapy and energy healing to skin care and nutrition. And of course acupuncture!
I had a blast giving free acupuncture treatments to somewhere close to 60 people. Their enthusiasm about acupuncture and the positive response made my day! But the best part was knowing that the event would help so many cancer patients.
Some upcoming Cancer Support Foundation events are Beer Pong at Raven’s Nest 8 and Laser Tag and Urban Golf in Timonium, Maryland. So there really is something for everyone!
