FAST FOOD = GOOD FOOD? – Part 2

“EATING IN A PINCH”

TODAY:  LUNCH ON THE RUN

I feel  regret for committing to a full WEEK of finding fast food that is acceptable for occasional ingestion!  Even with relaxed standards, the pickings are slim.

So I am looking to YOU, dear reader to clue me into any possibilities that I am overlooking. If you discover a healthy fast food meal, leave a comment or email me @ DianeHuey@Verizon.net.

Nevertheless, I do have a suggestion for lunch when you are out of time.  Chick-fil-A’s chicken wrap sandwiches make a decent meal.  But I recommend eating them only in a pinch due to their high sodium levels and the usual food additives.  But even with the sodium and additives, they are a big improvement on many of the other fast food choices out there!

On the plus side, they each average 35 grams of protein and only 12 to 15 grams of fat.  Those figures are for an entire wrap; at about 426 calories, you may want to split your sandwich with a friend.  You will still end up with a solid serving of protein that should get you through your afternoon.
